Be aware that as soon as you ask Sonny Joon about your medallion, the endgame will begin, and you won't be able to return to the base camp or do anything else in the game but the endgame. So if you want to talk to people, buy stuff in the Auction House, or rack up points in the Puzzle Palace, do it before you talk to Sonny Joon.
