Considering this is a hotel, you'd expect there to be a rack of keys behind the front desk.

In fact, they're kept in that Krolmeister safe set in the wall. Rats.

Once you have both the 8/9 key and the star keycard, you can get into any room in the place --

-- by going to the 8 or 9 room at the end of the hall, then using the star card to open the sliding doors between the rooms.
